The American College of Radiology designates this enduring material activity for .25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit ™ per case. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Credits awarded for this enduring activity are designated "SA-CME" by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and qualify toward fulfilling requirements for Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part II: Lifelong Learning and Self-assessment.

Intended Audiences
These individual case-based activities are intended for practicing radiologists, radiology residents, general physicians, and specialists.

Educational Need
Case in Point (CiP) offers the opportunity for practitioners to see cases in areas in which an individual practice may be limited, including both rare conditions as well as rare presentations of common disorders. In this way, CiP aims to equalize exposure for radiologists to areas that are not a common part of each individual practice and to improve patient outcomes by standardizing exposure to these cases around the country and the world.

Instructions for Earning CME Credit
It is estimated that it will require .25 hours to view the images, answer the questions, and read the feedback material in this continuing medical education activity. You may view the case in any order and answer or skip the questions. After you are finished studying the material in the case, select “Complete for CME” and answer the posttest* and required evaluation questions. When you're finished, you will be able to print out your CME certificates.
*To conform to the new AMA requirements for physicians to earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™
for completing CiP activities, ACR has set the following testing standard:
- You must attain a minimum passing score of 80% correct on the CiP posttest questions.
- You will be allowed to answer the test questions 3 times to achieve a passing score.
- If you fail to score 80% in 3 tries, you will NOT earn any CME credit for completing the case.

Step-by-Step Directions
ACR members can obtain the CME for Case in Point free. Non-members can purchase access to the CME part of the activity.
- Read the information on pages i and ii.
- Review the image(s) and answer all the questions in the activity. Read the feedback and study
the case points and discussion.
- Click the “Complete for CME” button on the last page of the case. If you have not already logged in, you will be prompted to do so now.
- Answer all the posttest questions. You must earn a score of at least 80%. You will have 3
chances to obtain a passing score. If you do not pass the test in 3 attempts, you will not earn
CME credit.
- Complete the required survey questions.
- Print your CME certificate.
